PRODUCT IDENTIFICATION
SOP-IPL-015

1. Purpose:
To establish a system of identification of finished
products, accessories and raw material to
ensure control of the finished goods and
materials used for their manufacturing, to
prevent mix-up and misuse of the finished
products, accessories and raw materials.

2. Scope:
These rules are obligatory for all factory employees,
Fork-lift operator, storekeeper and Executive
Supply chain.

3. Definitions:
Article Number, Batch, Identification, Label,
Marking, Non-usable scrap, Regrind material,
Returnable scrap, Suspended products.
Definitions
Article Number
Type of the product or good and its numeric or
alphabetical symbol
Batch
Product items under one name, manufactured based
on same bill of material (recipe) and from the same
grade of material.
Identification
Properties, designation, place and time of production,
special marking.
Label
Regrind material
a sticker with details like manufacturer,
name & type of the product, date of Material produced in
production, batch number etc. the result of recycling
Marking of waste and scrap, and
Alphanumeric or graphic data indicated which can be used in
directly on the product (engraved). production
Non-usable scrap
Polymeric material waste and products
which las lost their properties after
being processed so that they cannot be
used for further processing.
Returnable scrap
Products, raw materials and other materials
delivered which don’t comply with the
requirements.
Suspended product
Products which don’t comply with the
specification completely but can be used by the
customer or internally.
Product identification is necessary for:
Accounting of the products for management
of their shifting, storage & production.
Determination of time and place of defect
occurrence.
Determination of the place of location of all
defected products
Analysis of the defect occurrence and
elaboration of corrective actions.
Raw material Identification
Shall have supplier label with company-manufacturer
identification
Incoming control starts with ‘QUARANTINE LABEL’
Each new batch of the raw material shall be subjected to testing before
it can be used for manufacturing of finished goods.
Only the material with the label “For Use in Production” or “For
us in Production. Note_________” is allowed to be used for
production purposes.

Regrind material Identification


Material produced by Iplast Industries LLC in the result of
grinding of waste and rejected products can be used in
production of the finished

1. Purpose:
To establish a system of controlling and handling of
all raw materials and packaging materials used.

2. Scope:
This procedure covers all activities related to the
handling and control of raw materials and
packaging materials used in Iplast Industries LLC’s
factory, including but not limited to receiving,
storage, releasing, disposal and inventory
management.
3. Process:
1. Receiving and labeling of Production Materials
2. Sampling of received Production Materials
3. Registration and storage of approved and rejected Production
Materials
4. The Storage of the Materials
