LABORATORY TOOLS
> Objects that are used by scientist to
perform experiments inside the laboratory.
It is a simple
container used for
mixing, stirring,
and heating.

Beaker
Test Tube
Used to hold small
quantities of liquid.
Used to hold test
tubes upright
while observing
reactions or when
test tubes are not
used in
experiments.
Test Tube Rack
Bunsen Burner
It is a small laboratory
burner consisting of a
vertical metal tube
connected to a gas a source
and producing a very hot
flame from gas and air.
It is used to
transfer liquids to
another container
so they will not
spill.

Funnel
Pipette
Pipette is used for moving
small amounts of liquid
from one container to
another. It is usually made
of plastic and is disposable.

cause death.

Flammable means the substance
can be easily set on fire if exposed

and could be harmful to eyes. It
also indicates a chemical is
