Public speech
What is public speech ?
Public speaking is the process of
speaking to a group of people in a
structured, deliberate manner intended
to inform, influence, or entertain the
listeners.

It's a critical skill for leaders, educators,


lawyers, or anyone who needs to
communicate ideas to an audience.
Various Types of Speech
1. Welcome or Introductory Speech :
Purpose: To educate or inform the audience about a specific
topic.
Characteristics: Presents facts, data, or explanations to
increase the audience's understanding of the subject.

2. Demonstrative Speech:
Purpose: To show the audience how to do something or
how something works.
Characteristics: Often involves visual aids, props, or
demonstrations to enhance understanding.
