A paragraph is a group of sentences that are organized around a central idea. Most paragraphs have a three-part structure, including an introduction with a topic sentence, a body with supporting details, and a conclusion that summarizes the main point. Good paragraphs demonstrate unity with a clear topic, coherence through logical connections between sentences, order with a logical flow of ideas, and completeness with enough information to support the main topic.
