INTRODUCTION

• A small to medium-sized part of the surface of the earth is called


landforms and several related landforms together are known as
landscapes. Each landforms is a result of the action of certain
geomorphic processes and agents. Each landforms has its own
physical shape, size, nature and once formed, these landforms may
change over time due to the continued action of geomorphic
processes and agents.
OBJECTIVES

• To know the significance of geomorphic processes.


• Understand formation of different types of landforms by rivers.
• Difference between erosional and depositional landforms formed by
river.
• Identification and understanding of landforms of their nearby areas.
