Challenges and Solutions

for Project Success
By Siddalingesh S M
Introduction

Saunders Global Retail Corp's project, with a team of 35 members including

project head, lead, architect, designer, SME, managers, tech leaders,
programmers, testers, was progressing as per schedule.
Discussion with the client was underway for the project slated for completion in
three months, encompassing design, development, testing, and delivery. Client's
development requirements within the timeframe needed fulfillment.
Challenges
1. You find the team and their management style to be chaotic. There
is no unified process in the project.

2. Documentation is inconsistently organized in one place.

3.There are disagreements within the team. There are ego issues.
No proper communication among the team members.

4.Team’s time management also seems to be on a down hill

slope. Daily scrum calls aren’t being attended on time with no
sense of personal
accountability.
Steps to be taken to over come the challenges
1. Create a standardized approach to project management.

2. Establish uniform templates for documentation.

3. Encourage candid dialogue and teamwork.

4.Encourage personal accountability and punctuality,

reviewing and modifying daily scrum calls as necessary.
