reasons for embracing homeopathy.
• Some do believe that it is some sort of magic only meant to treat infertility or migraine.
• Despite its popularity, homeopathy faces criticism due to perceived lack of scientific
backing and regulatory concerns.
Current State
• According to WHO, homeopathy is the 2nd most prevalent system of medicine in the world.
• National Council for Homoeopathy (NHC) is a body Corporate Constituted under Unani
Ayurvedic and Homoeopathic Practitioners Act, 1965 to regulate the qualifications and to
provide for the Registrations of Practitioners of Unani Ayurvedic and Homoeopathic
Practitioners.
• It is incorporated in yardstick in Punjab.
• 136 colleges (in Pakistan) are offering 4 year diplomas in homeopathy and 4 degree awarding
institutes recognized by HEC are presently offering 5 year BHMS programs.
• Practicing homeopathy is legal in 42 countries around the globe.
Allopathy Homeopathy
• Its individualized approach addresses not only physical symptoms but also considers
mental and emotional well-being, providing comprehensive care for the whole person.
• By addressing underlying imbalances rather than just suppressing symptoms,
homeopathy aims for sustainable and lasting improvements in overall health and well-
being.
CON C L U S I O N
Homeopathy if practiced in its true essence in accordance with its basic tenets, gives nothing
but cure to the patient.
Before taking any remedy one should make sure that it is specific to the individuals need and
constitution.
