C.Learning Competency: Describe ways to protect oneself from exposure to excessive
light, and heat. (S4FE-IIIi-j-6)

6. Unlocking of Difficulties
a. Summer
-the time of year when the days last the longest and the weather is
warmest.
b. Sunburn
A sunburn is the skin’s response to extreme ultraviolet (UV) exposure and
indicates severe damage.
c. Sunblock
-type of sun protectant before going swimming or participating in
outdoor sports—or basically any time we go out in the sun.
