Objectives:

OBJECTIVES:

1. To give educators with a targeted resource that will help them use the Internet more effectively.

2.To help make the process of learning entertaining and attractive to the student.
Utilization of Technological tools for
Teaching and Learning
• Instructional Technology is the theory and practice of using technology for
education. Encompassing the design development, use, management and
evaluation of technology in education, instructional technology can take many
forms.
• The use of technological tools in teaching and learning process increases
interaction between teachers and students.
• It enables teachers to improve their teaching methods and tailor learning for their
students.
A. INSTRUCTIONAL TOOLS
• An E-Learning Authoring Tool is a software program that enables users
to create learning content, lessons and courses using text, media, and
interactions. is the delivery of leacrning and training through digital
resources. Although E-Learning is based on formalized learning, it is
provided through electronic devices such as computers, tablets and even
cellular phones that are connected to the internet.
• Example: Powerpoint
• TESTING TOOLS

• A product that supports one or more test activities,

including planning, requirements, building a build,
running tests, logging defects, and test analysis, is
referred to as a tool in the context of software testing.
Learning Platforms

• Is a broad term that refers to any software

applications or technology that can be use
for learning and training.
Learning Management System (LMS)

• Is a software application that specifically

focuses on managing and delivering online
courses and training programs.
B. Content Development Tools
• A. Documentation Tools – are software programs or systems
that have create, organize, store and share information and
knowledge in various forms such as text, image, videos,
diagrams and more. These tools are used to capture and
maintain information about processes, procedures,products,
services and other aspects of a project or organization.
B.Testing Tools and Presentation Tools
• Testing tools are software applications use to automate software testing
activities, helping developers and testers to identify and fix bugs and other
issues in software applications
• Presentation Tools, on the other hand are software applications use to
create and deliver presentations, such as slideshows and multimedia
presentations, to an audience
C. Screensharing And Screencasting Tools

• Screensharing and Screencasting tools are software

applications that allow users to share the computer
screen with others in real life, or to record their screen
and create a video file that can be shared or uploaded to
a platform.
Animation Tools
• Asimulation of movement created by displaying a series of pictures, or
frames. Cartoons on television is one example of animation. Animation on
computers is one of the chief ingredients of multimedia presentations. There
are many software applications that enable you to create animations that you
can display on a computer monitor.
• The difference between animation and video: Whereas video takes
continuous motion and breaks it up into discrete frames, animation starts
with independent pictures and puts them together to form the illusion of
continuous motion.
USING ANIMATION TOOL IN THE
CCLASSROOM
• Animation tools can be a valuable resource in your classroom. Not only
will students demonstrate their understanding of concepts while they are
creating the animations but the finished product can then be uploaded to
an online learning space. This provides an authentic audience for student
work and also provides opportunities for students to critique / review
work by other students.
• 1. Use animation to teach key concepts

• 2. Use animation to teach mathematical equations
• 3. Using animation for students who are reluctant to present to the class
