India and China
• India be an unconditional adversary is as always putting
hurdles in construction of this as she is not giving us NOC
so that we can ask for more loan form international banks .
Indian is claiming this land to be in disputed territory and at
the same time waring us to built dam on its side to stop
Indus river.
• Whereas our iron brother China did offer to build us this dam
but under some strict condition
Advantages
• Addition to National Grid station
• Increase in life of Tarbela dam
• Increase in Water storage
• Tourist attraction
Addition to National Grid station
• National grid will be feed
by 4,500 MW on the
completion of project.
• Which will eventually
result in reduction of load
shedding
• Electricity prices will
eventually reduce , a big
relief to masses
Increase in water storage
capacity.
• Currently Pakistan has capacity to store water for only 30 days .
After its construction We will be able to store water for 48 days.
