the coloring

bases
 Blue (cool) : cool color has blue or pink
undertones
 Yellow (warm) : warm complexion has a peach
and cream or yellow cast.
 Olive skin is considered cool because it is a
mixture of blue and yellow .
3.FRAME SELECTION BY EYE
COLOR

 If you have blue eyes, determine how close they are

to pale blue-gray. Most blue eyes are considered
cool, but the closer they are to gray, the warmer
they get. Another option is to go with a peach or
orange color which will make your eye color pop.
 If you have brown eyes, determine how close they
are to black. Most brown eyes are considered warm,
but extremely dark browns often qualify as cool
toned.
 If you have green eyes, determine whether
your eyes are blue-green or yellow-green.
Blue-green shades are cool toned, while
yellow-green shades are warm
FRAME SELECTION BY HAIR

BRIDGE SELECTION
 Selecting the proper bridge size and shape for
any given patient is a crucial part of frame
selection both from cosmetic and purely
practical perspective.
 Since a high bridge such as keyhole style,
tends to accentuate nose length, it should be
avoided with longer nose and recommended
with shorter nose.
 The opposite holds true with lower bridge
designs such as saddle bridge.
KEYHOLE BRIDGE
BRIDGE SELECTION
 Patients with especially narrow bridges are
generally successful with adjustable nose pads.
 Saddle bridges and comfort bridge for metal
frame are difficult to adjust.
 Therefore care must be taken to ensure thee fit
is suitable, right from the beginning, during the
initial frame selection.
