Group Activity 1: Think-Write-Pass!
Direction: Students will write about whatever they
want. When the time is up, students pass their paper
to another student in their group. Each student in
the group will have to read, continue the writing,
and pass the paper again 2-3 minutes later. When
each student gets their own paper back they get a
few minutes to complete the story. If time allows: let
the groups choose their favorite one to share.

Each group will do the assigned task. The
topics are all about the Filipino culture and
traditions. Each group will present a graphic
organizer in their presentation and the output
will be reported in class for 2 minutes only.
Use a cartolina in your presentation.
Group 1: (Description)
Choose one (1) from the list of
Filipino customs and traditions
and make a web map
presentation of your
description of it.
Group 2: (Comparison-Contrast)
Choose two (2) Filipino
customs and traditions and
make a Venn Diagram of its
similarities and differences.
Group 3: (Cause and Effect)
Choose one (1) Filipino customs
and traditions and identify how this
started and tell what’s the effect of
this. Use the fish bone diagram to
show your ideas.
Group 4: (Sequencing)
Choose one (1) Filipino customs
and traditions and tell how this is
being done in process. Use a
timeline chart to show your ideas.
