The radio will carry out a test of link quality for each of the
ALE channels. Once all channels have been tested the radio
.will automatically return to scanning mode When using the radio in CT mode, if the link quality is poor then it
is possible to improve the chance of success by reducing the
R BAT ALE SQ CT digital voice sampling rate. This is currently set at DV24. On
CH006 ** SCANNING ** poor links reducing this to DV6 or ME6 will increase the chances
of a successful call. To change this during a call, follow these
