The All India Radio has undertaken a country wide Ek Bharat Shrestha
Bharat campaign, which highlights the age-old tradition of our
country – unity in diversity and certainly the unparalleled cultural
harmony of our diversified communities and people.

Under Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat campaign, cultural exchange is


arrange to bolster mutual friendship, peace and harmony among the
people of different states to build a New India. Under the campaign,
people from paired states happily shared their experiences.

Tripura lies in the North-Eastern part of India.

Mizoram is one of the most is beautiful states located in the North East
of India.

and Manipur from the east.

People make variety of items from bamboo and cane. From furniture to many
commercial items for the tourists

clothes, ornaments and other valuable items.

• Poush Sankranti or Tirthamukh mela etc.


Popular festival’s of Mizoram

• There are three famous festivals celebrated in Mizoram: Chapchar


Kut, Pawl Kut and Mim Kut.
• All three of these Mizoram festivals revolve around agriculture and
celebrate the arrival of spring with feasts and beautiful traditional
dance performances.
