YG Entertainment – the start of group
The South Korean group started
out in August 2016, has been
formed by YG Entertainment,
consisting of
members Jisoo, Jennie, Rose,
and Lisa (photo).
All of the girls from group had
been known before debut – they
were the part of MVs in their
entertaintment, one of them played
in Korean dramas etc.
Lisa [Lalisa Manoban]
Lalisa Manoban (First no-korean member
in YG Entertainment) – Born in 1997 in
Thailand. She is a polyglot – can talk in
Korean, Japanese, Thai, English and also
Chinese. Lisa have the longest dance
experience in group, where she also rap
and sing.
She also had a solo debut with songs:
- „Lalisa” (2021)
- „Money” (2021)
Jennie [Jennie Kim]
Jennie Kim – Born in 1996 in Seul. Like
a Lisa, she is a rapper in group. Even she
is a South Korean, she heard about k-pop
music first time in New Zeland where she
have lived for 6 years. She was the first
member in Blackpink that had her own
solo debut („Solo” in 2018 and in 2022
„You&me”).
Rose [Roseanne Park]
Roseanne Park – Born in 1997 in Auckland
(New Zeland). When she was 7 she started her
experience with music – she had sing lessons
and also she played a guitar and piano. In 2012
she had joined to the YG Entertainment.
Because of her beautiful type of voice, people
gave her title „The golden voice of South
Korea”.
Like other girls in group she also had her own
solo debut (2021)

- „Gone”
Jisoo [Jisoo Kim]
Jisoo Kim –born in 1995 (oldest member)
in Gunpo. In a group she is a song-writer,
singer and she also was an actress. In
2018 she was the 10th k-pop idol on the
list of most popular. She doesn’t have her
own solo song but YG Entertainment
informed that she will have one in 2023.

dynamical like a music video. Many
people after they saw the choreography
called it „arms breaker” or „bones
breaker”

hard if person who dance has
many energy for.

YouTube in 24 hours) over 80 milion views (2020).
