NOTIFICATION OF COUNTRY

BORDER FOR FISHERMAN

Problem Statement
• Fishermen navigating in maritime environments often encounter
challenges related to identifying their proximity to international
borders. Without proper awareness of border locations, fishermen may
unintentionally cross into foreign territories, leading to legal
complications and safety concerns.
• To address this issue, a system utilizing Radio Frequency (RF)
technology needs to be developed to notify fishermen when they are
approaching or crossing international borders.
Total Cost
• Total amount= 8,000
Project Summary
• The project aims to enhance fishermen's awareness of their proximity
to international borders, mitigate legal risks, and promote safer
maritime navigation.
• The notification system offers real-time alerts, clear notifications, and
seamless integration with navigation systems, ensuring effective
compliance with international maritime regulations and improving
overall safety in maritime environments.
Methodology
• The proposed solution involves the development of a notification system for fishermen
using Radio Frequency (RF) technology to alert them when approaching or crossing
international borders in maritime environments.
• Initially, the project conducts a thorough analysis of requirements and constraints,
delineating optimal locations for RF beacon deployment along maritime borders.
Following installation, RF receivers compatible with various vessel types are
developed and seamlessly integrated into existing navigation systems.
• This project implemented to analyze RF signals, filter noise, and estimate vessel
proximity to international borders. Clear alerting mechanisms are designed to notify
fishermen in real-time, integrated directly into vessel navigation interfaces for ease of
use.
• Regulatory compliance and safety guidelines are established, alongside user-friendly
interfaces and feedback mechanisms for iterative improvement.
Plan of action of implementation
• This project implementing the notification system of country borders for fishermen using
radio frequency (RF) technology involves several key steps. Firstly, we will conduct a
thorough assessment of maritime borders and regulatory requirements. Next, we will design
and deploy RF beacons strategically along these borders, ensuring comprehensive coverage
and signal reliability.
• Concurrently, we will develop RF receivers compatible with various types of fishermen's
vessels and integrate them seamlessly with existing navigation systems. Signal processing
algorithms will be developed to analyze RF signals received by vessel RF receivers,
enabling accurate proximity detection to international borders.
• This project User-friendly alerting mechanisms will be implemented, providing timely
notifications to fishermen as they approach or cross country borders. Additionally,
comprehensive training and guidelines on regulatory compliance and safety will be
provided to fishermen. Continuous monitoring and maintenance will ensure the system's
reliability and effectiveness in enhancing maritime safety and regulatory compliance.
Expected Result
• The implementation of the notification system for fishermen regarding
country borders using radio frequency (RF) technology is expected
output is alert message will notify the minimum 5meters to 10meters
notification message will be appear.
