 These are specific and measurable actions that
need to be done in order to address issues or
concerns presented in an argument.

 The statement has the modals: should, must


and ought to.

Claim of
Value
 Claim of value is an argument based on
morality, belief, ethics, or philosophy.

Claims of value is a claim that some things are better than


or less desirable than others. It is also trying to persuade
you to approve or disapprove of something.
In summary, a claim of fact deals with what is
objectively true or false, a claim of policy
suggests a course of action to address a
particular issue and a claim of values involves
judgment about morality, asserts that
something is good or bad.
