PowerPoints.

(This is just a small portion of what PowerPoint can do.)
New slide
• Go to the home tab
• And click new tab
• Easy as that
Text colour
• (Write your text that you want to change)
• Select your text
• Go to the home tab
• Go to Font
• Select the little down arrow next to the A underlined with a
colour stripe
• And choose a colour!
Text size
• (Write your text that you want to change)
• Select your text
• Go to the home tab
• Go to Font
• And next to that number are 2 letter “a”-s with an up, and a
down arrow
• Click on them and watch as your text becomes larger or
smaller!
Text font (this is my favourite font)
• (Write your text that you want to change)
• Select your text
• Go to the home tab
• Go to Font
• Select the small arrow next to the font name
• And then find one of your liking!
Bold
• (Write your text that you want to change)
• Select your text
• Go to the home tab
• Go to Font
• And select the “B”
Italic aka “döntött”
• (Write your text that you want to change)
• Select your text
• Go to the home tab
• Go to Font
• And select “I”
Underlined
• (Write your text that you want to change)
• Select your text
• Go to the home tab
• Go to Font
• And select “U”
Background
• Right click on the empty space on your slide
• Select “Format Background”
• And browse through the options
Insert Image
• Select where you want to insert the image
• Go to the insert tab
• Click on pictures
• This device
• Select your image
• And done
Transitions
• Select the slides you wish to apply a transition to
• Go to the transitions tab (obviously)
• And select a transition!
• (if you want more transitions than fiddle with the arrows
next to them.)
Animations
• (Write your text that you want to change)
• Select your text
• Then go to the Animations tab (obviously)
• And select your animation!
• (if you want more animations than fiddle with the arrows
next to them.)
Shapes
• Select where you want to insert your shape
• Go to the insert tab
• Click the arrow under “shapes”
• And browse!
links
• Select the link you want to refer to
• Ctrl + C
• Select where you want to put your link
• Go to the insert tab
• Click on link
• At the bottom go to “address:”
• Ctrl +V
• Ok
Sybbol
• Click where you want to put your symbol
• Go to the insert tab
• Select symbols
• And then you have your symbol!
To open slide master:
• Hold down the shift key whilst pressing this icon
