SMARTER: Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and
Results-oriented, Time-bound, Ethical, and Recorded.
2. Information seeking – an entrepreneur knows
that knowledge or information is power.
3. Systematic planning and monitoring –
an entrepreneur plans for success; it develops a system to
schedule all the tasks that are needed to be done, a priority list
for urgent tasks, an implementation program, and the
monitoring and evaluation schemes after the tasks are done.

1. Persuasion and Networking – an
entrepreneur knows he/she has the power to achieve the
goals planned for the business.

even power can be sourced through others, the most

1. Middle Level Management

This position is responsible in developing strategies needed to


achieve the organizational mission, vision, goals and objectives.
Middle-level managers pull information from the top-level managers
and provide guidance to lower-level managers.

Example: Mr. Cruz is the middle-level manager of ABC Company


and he makes sure that the daily operations of the business headed
by the store managers under lower-level managers have no
problems and they know the company’s mission, vision, goals and
objectives.
2. Business Consultant
Business consultants, also known as management analysts, work in
areas that include marketing, human resources, management, and
accounting. Consultants are the one who help the company by
assessing its performance by identifying the weaknesses of the
company and giving recommendation on how to improve it.

Example: Ms. KC is the business consultant of ABC Company and she found out
that the weakness of the company is lack of new and innovative products that
can compete with the competitors. She prepared a list of recommendations to
the company.
3. Sales
They are someone who works in sales or runs the
department needs to know how businesses run. They need
to know how to represent a company, manage accounts,
and follow up on leads.

Example: ABC Company introduces the new product in the


department store, Ms. Lopez who is under the sales team
will be the one who will promote and sell the product to the
consumers.
4. Research and Development

Research and development (R and D) includes activities that


companies undertake to innovate and introduce new products
and services. They are responsible, to make the company to stay
ahead from its competitors.

Example: From the problem that Ms. KC found in ABC Company,


the R&D department will be the one who will improve the existing
product or introduce new product.
5. Not for profit fundraiser

They organize activities to raise funds or otherwise solicit and


gather monetary donations or other gifts for an organization and
may design and produce promotional materials.

Example: Ms. Lugtu knows the key people to connect with that
will help her to raise funds for an organization that protects the
animal and wildlife. Since she knows how to promote activities,
she raises a lot of funds for the organization.
6. Teacher
They are the one who teach students about the different subjects.
If you have a degree in Entrepreneurship, you can teach
Entrepreneurship in Senior High School or even other subjects
like math connected to business or history connected to
innovation.

Example: Mr. Perez is a graduate of BS Entrepreneurship and


currently he is a teacher for Entrepreneurship subject and also
subjects like Business Mathematics and Applied Economics..
7. Recruiter
They are the one who select and hire people to fill a position.
Having had courses that cover operations management,
leadership, and a variety of others, you most likely have a keen
sense of what type of person is needed to fulfil a position.

Example: Ms. Cortez is the head of the Human Resource


Department who recruits people. She knows the requirements for
every position and makes sure that she hires right people on the
right job.
8. Business Reporter
It is an online resource delivering news, features and analysis
around the critical issues affecting business and management.
Written by experts and specialists, the quality content is primarily
created for use in prestigious broadsheet newspapers – and then
expanded upon online.

Example: Mr. Mendoza is an expert in writing articles and


researches about issues in affecting business and management.
He delivers news and published his articles in newspapers and
posted in internet.
