The PPST, the revised National Competency-Based
Teacher Standards (NCBTS).
Society expects the teacher as professional to
demonstrate professionalism in all that he/she does.
Professionalism is both a professional and a personal
trait. The 7 Domains collectively comprise 37 strands
that refer to more specific dimensions of teacher
practices.
Domain 1: Content Knowledge and Pedagogy (7 strands)
