What is Benchmark and why you’re here

• Historically FLANDERS has used a homegrown Microsoft Access

safety database to store and track safety information. Over the years it
has become more and more obsolete and difficult to support. It requires a
lot of man hours to keep it functioning.
• Also, through mismanagement and decentralization, required training
has become inconsistent and poorly recorded.
• Benchmark powered by Gensuite will standardize the way FLANDERS
tracks, stores, assigns and records all aspects of our required training
content as well as future FLANDERS specific training and our incident
management procedures.
 How to log in to a FLANDERS device

If you do not know your username or PW, contact your supervisor or the IT department.

 My Home Default Start

After web browser refresh, you

may select your My Home
default. The My App Gateway
is the recommended choice.
Click Set It!

Finish by clicking close. A

blank Benchmark page will start.
Close your web browser and
reopen using the Benchmark icon
on your desktop. The new user
registration is finished. You can
now use Benchmark!

Concern Report Types

Environmental Concern – spill, improper disposal,

incorrect waste management, poor chemical storge,
etc.
Near Miss - an unwanted event that did occur but
did not result in injury or damage but had potential
to do so.
Positive Observation –behavior where the
individual did the correct safety behavior or went
beyond what is required.
Safety Improvement Idea – an improvement to a
process, tool, material, or condition that decreases
or eliminates a hazard.
Unsafe Act/Condition – any undesirable act or
condition, that if left uncorrected, can likely result
in an incident.
Quality Concern - any undesirable issue that can
result in poor quality.
Quality Improvement Idea - an improvement to
process, tool, material, or condition that increases
quality.
