 Overview
2 The Ateneo Law Journal is an academic journal published by an
independent student group at Ateneo Law School.

The Journal earnestly carries out its responsibility as a medium for

initiating discourse in various fields of law, reflecting a continuous
collaboration and interaction among students, faculty, practitioners, and
the government.

The ALJ Legal Citation Guide special publication of the Ateneo Law
Journal. It is a compilation of methods of citation for the legal field to aid
legal practitioners and students in writing their legal documents and
papers.

The Journal specifies the technical usage which makes the
format distinct from the other conventional citation styles.

of quotations. Those that have 49
words or less or those with 50 words or
more. In the former, the quotation shall
be enclosed in a double quotation mark
(“ “). While in circumstances such as
the latter, shall be within a block
