PRESENTATION ON
MONITOR & IT’S TYPES
INVENTION OF MONITOR
A German Scientist named Karl
Ferdinand Braun that in 1897 invented the first monitor named as CRT ( cathode ray tube ) What is Monitor ?
Monitor is an Output device. It
shows the work that we do on a computer. Monitors often look similar to televisions. Difference between Monitor & Television
The Main difference between a
monitor and a television is that a monitor does not have a television tuner to change channels. Monitors often have higher display resolution than televisions. CRT MONITOR
The CRT ( cathode-ray tube ) is a
vacuum tube that contains one or more electron guns which is used to through the electron beams onto the phosphorescent screen to produce the images.CRT Monitors comsume lot of electricity, produce heat, consume lot of space. LCD MONITOR LCD is known for “Liquid Crystal Display” Made of liquid crystals. It is the most used monitor worldwide, as it requires less space, consumes less electricity, and produces relatively less heat than CRT monitor. LCD Monitors are thinner and much lighter in size and weight than CRT monitors. LED MONITOR 1. LED monitor or LED display is a flat screen, flat – panel computer monitor. 2. LED Monitors use light-emitting diodes to light up the screen, which are basically very small bulbs. 3. LED produces high contrast images. Provide 4k Quality Resolution. 4. LED monitors are significantly thinner, lighter and use less power than other Monitors. 5. They Occupies Less space, and they are very high in price than other monitors.
