1987 Philippine Constitution
“The State shall protect and advance the right of the
people to a balanced and healthful ecology in accord
with the rhythm and harmony of the nature .
Executive Order No. 192
designated the DENR as the primary government agency
responsible for the conservation, management, development
and proper use of the country’s environment and natural
resources. And its Environmental Management Bureau is tasked
to implementation and monitoring.
