Safe Manners for Chemical Handling / Storage area

 In accordance with local laws and regulations, contractor
must obtain necessary permits and/or authorization for storage
and use of hazardous materials.

 Hazardous materials must use in approved areas that have
adequate ventilation and accessible emergency eyewash or shower
stations.
                            
 A current chemical inventory must maintain. The inventory
must be available in all areas chemicals are stored, handled, or
dispensed.

Contractor must post signs in all hazardous material use and
storage areas stating no eating, smoking or drinking.
               
 Chemical area must be secure and cover.
 

 Chemical drums ( Primary Containment) must be store in
Secondary Containment.



the largest container stored in.

 Flammable and combustible materials must be stored away from
ignition sources.
