● With its planning based on axis Chandigragh
has pursued the "more exposure, more
consumer" approach.
● L-shaped for maximum exposure
● Three main entrances lead visitors to see
through atrium which is main source of
attraction .
● Separate circulation for staff and
visitors.Forced circulation of customers
across the mall via the thoughtful
● positioning of vertical circulation devices like
11 lift and three sets of escalators
● Strategic building arrangement that creates a
pedestrian-friendly short corridor between
major roadways to draw people into the mall
area
● Food court faces the central atrium for better
user experience
● Vertical zoning based planning
● Commercials on ground, first and
second floor and other activities
like office,cinema,children play
area in upper floors.

ACCESS AND LANDSCAPE
● 7 vehicle entry and multiple pedestrian
access points are provided.
● Interior and exterior divided by
transitional space.
● Transitional space acting as landscape
● The mall's entry is barrier-free due to
the walkway and flushed ramp.
● Every customer is warmly welcomed to
the mall by a large plaza. The plaza's
variety of food vendors has also
brought life to the area.
