Principles of effective communication
 Look for your audience in such a way that thirsty looks for
water.
 Observe your audience’s needs and be ready to fulfill them.
 See what type of communication is effective for the audience.
 Apply the method of communication which is effective for a
particular audience.
 Start communication via various tools of communication.
 Make sure that they will get their answers quickly.
 Control your ego before the people to whom you are
communicating with.
 Be polite in talking and messaging to your customers.
 Listen to their complaints carefully and try to rectify
immediately.
 Businessis an activity through which one can
improve financial conditions.
 Every businessman wants to expand his
business.
 Mostly,the expansion of business engulfs many
valuable years.
 To expand our business, communication skill is
required.
 But good communication boosts a business to
the sky.
 What to do for developing our communication
skills is to learn principles of 7cs of
communication.
 Everybusiness organization needs to
communicate with its clients and other
people to maintain and to grow the business.
 No business can be done without
communication.
 Itis the time of mass communication through
Digital Platform or print media.
 Many companies communicate through SMS,
social media, phone calls, emails, etc.
 The process of communication is very fast
today than before.
Every person is not a good
communicator.
Person to person communication is
effective only at a smaller level of a
business.
If a shopkeeper advertises his business
for a local circle, it works.
When a large unit holder wants to send
messages to the people, he/she uses
mass communication system.
 It is said “Written is to be read”.
Print media is one of the mass
communication methods.
Business owners can deliver press
reports in the local newspapers.
They can spread messages in society
through print media.
People can know about the company
and deal according to the messages.
Multinational companies communicate
on a large scale in various countries.

developing a business.
 Communication is a process of exchanging
thoughts and ideas.
 When your communication follows all the seven
C principles, your presentation is perfect.
 It helps in making the best decisions.
 Effective communication gives speed to your
business.
 If we satisfy our customers’ needs, they will
help us in boosting our business.
 There are many problems in a business firm.
 All these are due to poor communication or
communication gap.
 But effective communication can help in solving all the
problems.
 It also improves quality of products.
 When the employees are given timely and proper
guidance, they will follow and improve quality and
quantity.
 Employees get job satisfaction due to proper
communication.
 The timely transformation of thoughts and ideas saves
time and money.
 It makes our business relationship strong and long-
lasting.

Cs.
 Theyare concreteness, consideration,
correctness, courtesy, conciseness,
completeness, and clarity.

 Dohumanity proud by keeping the 7Cs in
mind:
1. Concreteness
 Beingconcrete means being definite in
sending messages.
 Ourmessage should not be round
about.
 What you want to say must be clarified
in the message.
 Avoidusing unnecessary words which
create confusion in reader’s mind.

in our communication.
 Use particular words
 Avoid interfering words or sentences
 Use exact words of information
 Check the words before sending
 Never use abuse or misleading sentences.
2. Consideration

 When you send any message, consider


yourself as a receiver instead of sender.
 What you like write the same words.
Consider the needs and requirements of
the receivers while sending the
message.
 Consider the opposite person’s priority
the highest.

 Falsestatements and words mislead people and
sometimes it creates a great loss to the

 We should keep friendly relations with those
to whom we communicate. It is a popular
proverb, “Courtesy brings happiness”.
