Characteristics of self- actualized persons

1. Realistic
• Efficient perception of reality
• Unthreatened , unfrightened by unknowns
• Superior ability to reason and to see truth
• Logical and efficient
2. Acceptance
• Accept themselves, others and natural things as they exist
• Dont have unnuccessary inhibitions
3. Problem centring
• Focus on problems outside them but centered on others
• Their missions require high energy and actually the reason for their
existence
• They are serene
4. Detachment
• need for privacy
• Self-starters
• Consider themselves responsible for their actions and behavior
5. Autonomy
• Independant of environment and culture
• Rely only on their inner-self satisfaction
6. Continued freshness of appreciation
• Have a fresh rather than steriotyped appreciation of people and
things
• Live in present
7. Peak experiences
• Feel freely alive
• Deeply conneced to themselves, others
• Feeling of acsatacy and wonder
• Lose of placement in time and space
