Defination
• The kerb (or curb) of a road is the raised
edge that separates the pavement or
sidewalk from the roadway. It serves as a
physical barrier to prevent vehicles from
driving onto the sidewalk and also helps to
channel rainwater away from the road
surface.
Importance of kerbs

1. Kerbs provide a physical barrier between the
