Conjunctions are words that link together clauses. There are two types of
conjunctions.

In the sentences we’ve looked at so far, the subordinate conjunctions have been after
the main clause e.g.

This can be very confusing! If the word is within a group of words that contains a
subject and a verb, then it is usually being used as a subordinating conjunction.
