Listening skills are essential abilities that


involve actively receiving and interpreting
verbal and nonverbal messages.

Effective listening can enhance


relationships, improve productivity, and
foster mutual understanding.

There are various types of listening skills,


each serving a unique purpose in
communication.
Types of Listening Skills

Active Listening: Involves fully


concentrating, understanding, responding,
and remembering what is being said.

Reflective Listening: Requires


paraphrasing or reflecting back the
speaker's words to demonstrate
understanding and empathy.

Critical Listening: Involves analyzing and

make informed judgments or decisions.

CONCLUSION:

Listening is one of the essential soft skills. It indicates a person's ability to receive

skills, you won't be able to receive and interpret the message.
