Introduction
The outbound process in SAP EWM is used to ship ordered
goods to customers. The process starts with the creation of a
sales order and an outbound delivery. The outbound delivery is
replicated to the Embedded EWM system, where an outbound
delivery order is created. Warehouse tasks are created with
reference to the outbound delivery order and the physical
process for picking is executed. During the creation of
warehouse tasks, the system determines the location for picking
the stock and allocates the stock to the warehouse task. At the
end of the process, the goods issue is posted. The goods issue
information is transferred from SAP EWM to the SAP
S/4HANA system.

Activity Area & BIN Sorting
Activity areas are groups of storage bins based on their activities and performance in the warehouse. Activity
areas are used for group warehouse tasks based on the resources that are assigned to activities.

Bin sorting is a process of ranking storage bins into a defined sort sequence for the
combination of warehouse number, activity, and activity area. This ranking is taken into
consideration for specific warehouse processes, such as picking. That is, the order of the
warehouse tasks in the warehouse order is based on the sort sequence of the respective
destination bins.

A warehouse process type is used to define the activity or movement of each process in a warehouse. It
deals with each warehouse process like Stock Removal , goods receipt, packaging, goods issue and is
assigned to each warehouse task document

Process-oriented storage control (POSC)is used for mapping complex putaways, stock removals,
and warehouse-internal movements

Warehouse Order Creation Rule
Warehouse Order Creation Rules (WOCR) in SAP EWM enable companies to classify work better and optimize labor
by setting up case-specific configurations in the process steps , When grouping warehouse tasks into warehouse orders,
the EWM uses the search sequence for warehouse order creation. For instance, WOCR1, then WOCR2, then WOCR3
as there are several WOCRs and the EWM works through them in sequence, as defined for each activity area in the
configuration.
