Plant Growth Comparative Test
Do you remember when
we planted some seeds
for our comparative test?
What does a comparative
test mean?

What conditions have we given our plants?

Do you still remember our predictions?

to survive. Some plants
like a lot of water, some
only need a little.

Conclusions
Plants need sunlight to grow well.
Seeds can germinate and sprout under the soil without sunlight, because
seeds contain a store of food that the plant uses to grow. When this is
used up, the plant needs more food so it can keep getting bigger.
Plants use their leaves to absorb the sunlight and use the energy in the
sunlight to make their own food.
