Why God implanted in our
souls the gift of “intellect” and
the gift of a “free will,”
 God wants us to use these gifts in his service.

 God desires that our intellects should be truly

enlightened and instructed so that it will have a
clear knowledge of who God is.
 God desires that we continually grow in the
knowledge of his love, power, goodness, justice,
and mercy.
 We demonstrate and prove that we believe by what
we choose to do.

 Our acts of love toward others imitate God in

certain ways because he not only told us that he
loved us, but his Son died on the cross to prove it.
ALWAYS REMEMBER:
 One’s intellect and free will can be used for
good.
 We are always accountable for our actions.
HAVE YOU EXPERIENCED A
DILEMMA?
A DILEMMA is a situation in which a
difficult choice has to be made between
two or more alternatives, especially
equally undesirable ones.
We have MENTAL FACULTY AND
CAPABILITY to decide what and come up
with the best and correct decision even
though it may seem that we have very
limited options at the moments.
Our HUMAN INTELLECT is more than
capable to process problems and come
up with innovative solutions.

HUMAN INTELLECT AND FREE WILL.
1.Always think before you speak or act.
2.Spend time to reflect upon and ponder on issues that need
thoughtful consideration.
3.If you are unsure of your assessment of things, find a person
whom you trust and believe to possess wisdom.
4.Control yourself and rein in your emotions.
5.Keep in mind that you are capable of making the
appropriate choices and right decisions.
