What is the difference between studying online and studying at a
school?
Studying on the internet such as an online course is more effective
than studying at school, because we can focus more without the
distractions of being in a class. We can also study at our own pace and
with recent advances in technology, it is often much cheaper to study
online than at a school. For instance if you want to learn English it will
be more expensive to enroll in a school than studying through
YouTube videos or taking a Skype lesson.

How are education priorities today different than those in the past?
Many years ago, teaching was about route learning and the pupils
used to listen to the teacher in a lecture format. In recent years, in the
western world especially, there has been more of a focus on
critical th_nking
individualis and cr_tical

in high school I remembered the teacher was writing up stuff on the
blackboard with no group discussion among the class. These days the
classroom is very different place.

What’s the difference between things made by hand and

things made by machines?
Well, there are clear differences between the things made by
machines and by hand. To begin with, the things made by machines
can be made quickly compared to its handmade version. They usually
provide nearly identical products and the same qualities. Whereas in
contrast, no two handmade products are identical when they are
made by hand. In addition, the handmade products require a lot more
labor intensive, so they’re generally associated with high-end
products while machine-made products have cheaper prices.

between houses built a long time ago and those recently
built. Old houses used to be built using stone, soil or bricks
and they were also bigger than most houses built today;
meanwhile, these days, completely different materials such as
fire-retardant, sound and noise proof are used to build
modern houses to provide people better living conditions.

What are the differences in sizes of houses? Why?

In terms of size, modern houses are certainly smaller than
what they used to be. This is partly due to the ever-

population, making it much harder to own a large piece of land,
size
and partly because of the decreasing si_e average

Do people prefer eating, fast or home-made food in your
country?

Well, most people in my country have tended to cook and

eat at home with their family. So, home-made food is more
popular than fast food. The reason for it is that home-made food
is much healthier than fast food (natural and fresh
appropriate/əˈproʊpriət/ portion size). The other reason is that

How are the eating habits now in your country different from
eating habits in the past?
I think people’s eating habits have changed in the past
years. Nowadays, there are already a lot of fast food restaurants.
Processed food
Proc_ssed fo_ds have become popular as well. I think people
these days don’t eat as much healthy foods compared in the
past. Also, I think people in the past are more concerned of
eating at the right time. However, nowadays, people tend to skip
meals because of several reasons such as dieting, busy schedules
and etc.
