Introduction
Soil salinity received very little attention in the past. There is no continuous
monitoring about soil in study area.
The present piece of study was undertaken to provide better understanding of
seasonal variability of soil salinity during dry period in south coast of
Bangladesh.
Recent attention has been paid to the impact of seasonal variability of soil
salinity on crop production.

Conclusion and Recommendation
Polder had remarkable effect on maximum soil properties studies in all
points of all locations.
Polder was found very effective to reduce salinity problem in coastal
region. Salinity starts to rise up after monsoon and reached maximum in
dry period.
