WEEKLY ASSEMBLY EMCEE TEXT

1.Assalamulaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh and a very good


morning. In the name of Allah, The Most Compassionate and The Most
Merciful. Peace and blessing be upon our greatest prophet, Prophet
Muhammad SAW.

2.The Respectable,
The Headmaster of SK Sejijak, Puan Kartini binti Mahli,
Senior Assistant of Curriculum, Puan Aryanti Binti Jalil,
Senior Assistant of Pupils’ Affair, En Roslan Bin Edi,
Senior Assistant of Co-Curiculum, En. Mohd Nazaruddin Bin Sahari,
the weekly on duty teachers, teachers of SK Sejijak and my fellow
friends.

3.To kick-start our assembly, let us begin with the singing of these 2
songs:
a) The National Anthem, Negaraku.
b) Sarawak State Song.
I would like to invite all teachers and pupils to stand straight.

‫ِبْس ِم ِهّٰللا الَّرْح َمِن الَّر ِح ْيِم‬


‫َاْلَح ْم ُد ِهّٰلل َر ِّب الَع اَلِم ْيَن َو الَّص َالُة َو الَّس اَل ُم َع لَى َاْش َرِف ْالَألْنِبَياِء َو اْلُم ْر َسِلْيَن َو َع َلى ٰا ِلِه‬
‫َو َص ْح ِبِه َاْج َم ِع ْين‬،
Bismillahirrahmanirrahiim, alhamdulillahi rabbil ‘alamin, washolatu was
salaamu ‘ala asyrofil anbiyaa-i wal mursaliin, wa ‘ala aalihi wa shohbihi
ajma’iin.

In the name of Allah, Most Beneficent, Most Merciful,


Ya Allah, thank you for yet another new day,
Please give us all the strength,
To achieve excellence and perfection in lives,
Grant us with the strength and patience,
Along our strives for success,
Ya Allah,
Please help us to be calm in difficulties,

And this we ask in sincerity; now and always.

For our sins, faults and failures,

From anger, from cruelty and despair,

Ya Allah, Ya Rabbul Jalil,
We pray for another day,
Shone with the knowledge that you bless,
Grant us with an open mind,
To accept and comprehend what are we taught,
So that we could develop the potentials in us effectively,
Ya Allah, The Creator of the world,
Please light up our lives with piousness,
And please and save our lives from disasters,
Ya Allah,
Please mould, form and teach us to be mukmin.
We seek for Your blessing ; now and always.

In the name of Allah, Most Beneficent, Most Merciful,


Ya Allah, The Most Merciful,
We thank you for the final day of the week,
Help us to spend it in ways that will please You,
We ptay for more permitted knowledge and revenue,
Ya Allah, on thus day of Your blessing,
Guide us to see and serve You, in all around us,
In our parents, teachers and everybody around us,
Ya Allah, help us through the pasture of our lives,
Grant us with iman and taqwa,
May this day bring us tranquility, hope and happiness,
We may offer You a day we all spent,
For Your honour and praise,
For the love of our families and friends,
For the good of our country and fellowmen,
This we ask in sincerity ; now and always.

Allah be in my eyes, and in my looking,
