Continuous Media Resource Model
The media server in the continuous media resource model stores and

Client in Continuous Media Resource Model
The client in the continuous media resource model receives and plays
back the multimedia content from the media server. It can be a hardware
device such as a set-top box or a software application running on a
computer or mobile device.
The client is responsible for decoding the content and rendering it to the
user. It also provides features such as pause, rewind, and fast-forward.
The client can communicate with the media server to request different
versions of the content based on the network conditions.
