METHODOLOGY:
 SOFTWARE TOOLS

1. ARDUINO IDE:
– The Arduino IDE(Integrated Development Environment) is a software platform used to write and upload
code to Arduino boards.
– It supports C and C++ programming languages.

2. EMBEDDED C:
– Embedded C is a variant of the C programming language, tailored specifically for programming embedded
systems.
– Embedded C is used to write software for Microcontrollers. which are small self-constrained computers
often found in everyday devices like microwaves etc.
 HARDWARE TOOLS

1.DHT11:
• The DHT11 is a low-cost temperature and humidity sensor module commonly used in DIY electronics projects and
prototyping. It communicates using a single-wire digital signal Interface. It sends data in the form of a 40-bit serial
data stream.
2.GAS SENSOR:
• Gas Sensors are the devices that detect the presence of various gases in the surrounding environment. Gas sensors
typically consist of a sensing element that interacts with the gas being detected along with supporting electronics for
signal processing and output.
3.FIRE SENSOR:
• Fire sensors are devices designed to detect the presence of fire, Smoke or Heat. They are an essential component of
fire detection and alarm systems, helping to alert occupants and authorities to potential fire hazards.
4.LCD(16*2):
• An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) 16*2 is a common type of alphanumeric display module that can display16
characters per line and has 2 lines. It's often used in various electronic projects, including Arduino and Raspberry Pi
for displaying information of sensor readings.
5.BUZZER:
• A Buzzer is an electronic component that generates sound when an electric current passes through it. It's often used
to produce audible alerts, notifications or tones in electronic devices.
