DEPED ORDER NO. 30 S. 2017
 Work immersion is a key feature of the SHS Curriculum. It can be
conducted in different ways depending on the purposes and needs
of learners.
 The guidelines took effect School Year 2017- 2018 for all Senior
High Schools
 These guidelines will remain in force and in effect for the duration
of the program unless sooner repealed, amended or rescinded. All
existing Orders and memoranda that are inconsistent with this order
are hereby rescinded

PORTFOLIO GUIDELINES
• The Work Immersion Portfolio is part of the Post-
Immersion Output but students should start working on
their portfolio as early as the Pre-Immersion Phase.

• A portfolio is required as partial fulfillment of outputs for


their Work Immersion Subject.

DRESS CODE
 Work Immersion T-shirt alternate with PE uniform except for HE
(FBS Uniform/per WI partners preference)
 Jeans (not tattered, not skinny)
 Closed shoes/sneakers
 Proper haircut for the boys (no earrings)
 Bun hairdo for the girls
 Wear your IDs at all times

* Non-adherence of the proper dress code means the student will be


sent home to change and might miss the total work immersion hours
CODE OF CONDUCT
 Behave all the time. Team leaders will be assigned per area to
monitor and report untoward behavior
 Avoid tardiness. (Accumulated minutes/hours tardy will have
specific sanctions by the end of the Work Immersion Period)
 NO CELLPHONES during WI hours (cellular phones may
only be used during break time and lunch. For emergency
purposes, kindly give your WI Teacher’s number to your
parents/guardians
CODE OF CONDUCT
Use your time productively. If there are no tasks/job
given use it to work and fill out your WI portfolio.
Always ask permission before taking photos during WI
hours
Be polite.
Absences must be relayed to both the WI teacher and WI
Supervisor.
Observe safety ALL THE TIME.
POINTS TO REMEMBER:
 You are to follow the Immersion Partner’s rules and
regulations in the duration of your immersion.
 Any violation will cause the cancellation of the
Memorandum of Agreement.
 No orientation, no attendance, no waiver means
“NO DEPLOYMENT.”
 Attach photocopy of parent/guardian’s ID on waiver and
orientation conforme.
 NO ATTACHMENT NO DEPLOYMENT.
