Hadith and Sunnah
Sunnah, (Arabic: “habitual practice”) also spelled Sunna, the body of traditional
social and legal custom and practice of the Islamic community. Along with the
Qurʾān (the holy book of Islam) and Hadith (recorded sayings of the Prophet
Muhammad),
• It was narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah, may
God bless him and grant him peace, said: "Beware of seven destructive
sins." It was asked: O Messenger of Allah! Which ones are they? He said:
"Associating with Allah, magic) To cast a spell(, killing the life of which
Allah has forbidden, taking the property of an orphan, taking usury, turning
one's back (running away) to the enemy on the day of battle, Accusing
innocent and ignorant believing women
وإ ن. «ما من يشء يف املزيان أْثَقُل ِم ْن ُح ْس ِن اْلُخ ُلِق:عن ابن مسعود مرفوًعا
«ليس الفاحشهللا ُيْب ِغ ض: عن أيب ادلرداء مرفوًعا: احلديث الثاين.»الَبِذ يء
وال الَبِذ يء، وال الفاحش، وال الَّلَّعان،املؤمن اِب لَّط َّعان
• On the authority of Abdullah bin Masoud, may Allah be pleased with him,
the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, said:
"There will be nothing heavier in the balance than good-naturedness on the
Day of Resurrection, and surely Allah hates immorality and obscenity."
Second Hadith: It is narrated on the authority of Abu Darda, that the
Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “A believer is
not a taunter, Cursing , lewd or obscene person.”
اْلُم ْفِلُس ِف يَنا َمْن اَل: َأَتْد ُر وَن َم ا اْلُم ْفِلُس ؟ َقاُلوا: َأَّن َر ُس وَل ِهللا َص ىَّل ُهللا َعَلْي ِه َو َس َمَّل َقاَل-ريض هللا عنه- عن أيب هريرة
، َو َقَذ َف َه َذ ا، َو َيْأيِت َقْد َش َمَت َه َذ ا، َو َز اَك ٍة، َو ِص َياٍم، َّن اْلُم ْفِلَس ِم ْن ُأَّم يِت َيْأيِت َيْو َم اْلِقَياَم ِة ِبَص اَل ٍة: َفَقاَل، َو اَل َمَتاَع،ِد ْر َمَه ُهَل
َف ْن َفِنَيْت َح َس َناُتُه َقْبَل، َو َه َذ ا ِم ْن َح َس َناِتِه، َفُيْع َط ى َه َذ ا ِم ْن َح َس َناِتِه، َو َرَض َب َه َذ ا، َو َس َفَك َد َمِإ َه َذ ا،َو َأَلَك َم اَل َه َذ ا
ِإ َّمُث ُط ِرَح يِف الَّناِر، ُأِخ َذ ِم ْن َخ َط ااَي ْمُه َفُط ِرَح ْت َعَلْي ِه، َأْن ُيْقىَض َم ا َعَلْي ِه
• It was narrated from Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant
him peace, said: Do you know who is bankrupt? The people said: The poor among us is the one
who has neither dirhams nor any goods. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon
him) said: Among my ummah, the bankrupt is the person who will bring prayer, fasting and
zakat (deeds in the form of zakat) on the Day of Judgment, but he will have abused someone in
this world, accused someone of wrongdoing. There will be, someone's property will be eaten
unjustly, someone's blood will be spilled and someone will be killed. His good deeds will be
given to those people (i.e. those whom he may have persecuted in this world) and if his good
deeds end before the compensation due to him is paid, then the sins of those people will be
taken and put in his account. and then he will be cast into hell.
