Commitment is usually
long term.
It requires time, and
discipline.
COMMITMENT
But Ruth clung tightly to
Naomi. “Look,” Naomi said to

her, “your sister-in-law has gone


back to her people and to her
gods. You should do the same.”

But Ruth replied,
“Don’t ask me to leave you and turn
back. Wherever you go, I will go;
wherever you live, I will live. Your
people will be my people, and your
God will be my God.

Wherever you die, I will die, and there I
will be buried. May the LORD punish me
severely if I allow anything but death to

When Naomi saw that Ruth was

determined to go with her, she said

Hindi ito nagsasayang ng oras.

REALITY
We don’t like to commit to
things when it is inconvenient,
when it doesn’t benefit us, and
when we get less out of the
relationship.
LOOK AT THE PICTURE:
Naomi sends Orpah and
Ruth away, because she
has nothing left, and she
has nothing to give.
…but Ruth stayed.

Ruth committed to Naomi


expecting nothing in
return.
She is not going to follow her
because she is going to gain,
she is going to follow her
because she cares about her.
Do you see the
picture of Jesus
in this?
We have nothing to
offer to Christ, but He
pursues us anyways.
IF you follow Jesus, His Father will be your
father.

If you follow Jesus, his place will be your


place.

If you follow Jesus, his people, his church,


will be your people.
And if you follow Jesus, not
only will He be close to you, but
He will be WITH YOU and IN
YOU always to the end of the
age.
God is good.
God wants to bless me.
God is for me.
I am blessed.
God blesses me, and my
generation.
Sa laki ng pagpapalang
naghihintay, naghahanap ang
Diyos ng mapapagkatiwalaan…

mga taong may COMMITMENT.


For God has not given us a
spirit of fear and timidity,
but of power, love, and
self-discipline.
