Seven - Opening Sequence

The opening sequence of the psychological thriller Seven provides minimal details about the plot through mysterious visuals and unsettling music. Images shown include a scrapbook with obscured faces and objects of unclear significance, building narrative intrigue. Quick cuts between shots that hide the identity of the villain position the viewer as both close yet detached. The music intensifies with additional sounds, mirroring the protagonist's state of mind. Together, these elements aim to make the viewer feel uncomfortable and mess with their mind, establishing the psychological thriller genre.
