Web development is the building and maintenance of
websites. It is a work that involved collaborative
effort among experts which we called as web
developers.

Front-end Developer is someone who is responsible for the


content, design and behavior of the website on how you interact
with it.

Back-end Developer deals with the servers and uses databases to


control what goes on behind the scenes of a website.

Therefore, web development is a demanding job that requires a


wide professional experience and technical skills.

Wix.com is an online website builder that gives the users the
capacity to create a professional website without having to know a
line of code.

It provides customizable website templates and a drag-and-drop


interface that includes apps, graphics, image galleries, fonts,

This easy, step-by-step tutorial helps you to learn the basics of
web development using Wix. In this guide, it introduce you to the
Wix Artificial Design Intelligence (ADI) that will generate your
website based on your preference. So, here's how to make a
website with Wix.
Step 1: Get started

Go to www.Wix.com and Click “Get Started”


Step 2: Make an Account and Sign Up with Wix

In order to use Wix to create a website, you must first make


account registration. Your email address and password will then
need to be entered. Following registration, click Let's Do it on the
following screen.
Step 3: Identify

Recognize the website that you are looking for and the expertise
that you have.
Step 4: Use Wix ADI create a website for you and select
Start Now

Use Wix ADI to make a website for you and Select Start now. Wix will ask
you if you want to create a website using the Wix Editor or entrust the job to
Artificial Design Intelligence (ADI) to create your website.
Step 5: Add features

After selecting Wix ADI, Choose your preferred features when


using Wix ADI to ensure a tailored website. Detailed answers help
ADI create precise design elements like navigation menus and
contact pages. Accuracy is key for ADI to customize the perfect
site for you.
Step 6: Choose a template

Choose from the templates provided after choosing the features


you wanted from the previous steps.
Step 7: Edit your website using ADI Editor
After choosing a template, you’ll be brought to the wix Editor. The ADI Editor is easy to
navigate. But here are some pointers to get you started.

Elements - Click on an elemet to customize it The settings for a selected element will appear
in the left hand menu bar where you can then make any necessary alterations.

Page - Quickly toggle between the pages on your site and your blog.

Design - Click on Design in the top menu to change your website’s theme
and layout, or alter global colors, fonts, and more.
Step 8: Choose a Domain Name

Before you publish your Wix site, you will need to set your domain name when you
click "Publish". However, having a personalized domain name requires you to upgrade
to Wix's paid plans.

For the meantime, you will use the auto generated domain name in order to publish
your website. Your website will follow the format www.yourname.wixsite/yoursite,
which is enough to get it up and running.
Step 9: Publish Your Website

Once you complete the step, you can publish your site and start generating leads,
driving traffic, and selling products online. You opportunities are endless. Be sure to
have a copy of the link so that you can share it to your teacher.

You can always edit your Wix site after publishing. Just open your site's dashboard,
click "Manage Site," then "Edit Site," and off you go. To
re-publish, just click 'Publish' again in the top right corner.
