Subject Description
Grade 7 science will provide students with an
understanding of important science concepts, processes,
and ideas. Emphasis will be placed on higher order
thinking skills and developing an ability to solve
problems and apply scientific principles. It will include
the four major learning areas in science (Science of
Materials, Living Things, Force, Motion and Energy, and
Earth Science) emphasizing their connections across
disciplines and their application in life. Each of the
learning, focus questions that helps acquaint the students
with the topics and concepts of the unit. Each topic
provides various hands-on activities such as conducting
experiments that sharpen student’s scientific skills and
competencies, stimulate their natural curiosity and
provide opportunities where they can apply the concepts
and principles learned in the lesson.
