Foreword
 Since Huawei advocates the smart modular data center solution, vendors in the market have
promoted their smart module solutions. All the solutions are homogenized. Some traditional
solution vendors even copy each other to deliver projects. The industry environment is
deteriorated, becoming less technically professional. In addition, industry customers disassemble
the entire smart module during the centralized procurement process. As a result, the smart module
forms an assembled product. The coupling between smart modules is reduced, and every system
is isolated and cannot produce a joint effect. To further improve the competitiveness of the smart
module and lead the market trend, Huawei focuses on intelligence, the two core functions of power
supply and cooling, and perceivable and experienceable smart features, proposing iPower,
iCooling, and iManager solutions to find new niches.

Battery cabinet configuration principles:


Master battery Slave battery
 The battery cabinet dimensions are 600 mm x 1200 mm x 2000 mm. A top frame is required

Cooling System – Air Conditioner
The cooling subsystem uses two types of DC inverter air conditioners: air-cooled half-sized (NetCol5000-A035) and air-
cooled full-sized (NetCol5000-A050) air conditioners.

1 Installing a Cabinet 3 Exhausting Nitrogen from the Indoor Unit
1. Determine the cabinet position based on the engineering layout diagram. 2. Loosen the needle valve nut, connect a rubber hose

4 Installing an Outdoor Unit

• To avoid fire disasters, install an outdoor unit in a dry and well-ventilated place without flammable gas leakage.
• Select a place away from direct sunshine and radiation from other heat sources. If the sunshine or heat radiation cannot
be avoided, cover the outdoor unit.
• Do not install an outdoor unit in a place with much salt or corrosive gas.
• When installing the outdoor unit, ensure that the air intake vent and air exhaust vent of the condenser are not dirty or
