 DBT in Fertilizers – Andhra Pradesh
The objective of the fertilizer’s subsidy under DBT:
(1) To monitor the distribution of fertilizers across value chain from manufacturers till farmers
(2) To address the issues relating to diversion and smuggling of fertilizer.
(3) 100% subsidy on various fertilizer grades would be released to the manufacturers on the basis of actual sales made by the
retailer to the beneficiaries through Point of Sale (PoS) device. Fertilizer Retailers in AP

 Issues to be addressed
1. Tracking of license expired dealers using ePoS device: At present there is no linkage of RetailerID
with dealer’s License no and its validity e.g. If license of a dealers gets expires, PoS device should
prompt a message for license expiration and restrict the user from performing any operations. Such
linking will help avoid creation of duplicate IDs as well.
2. Creation of RetailerID and editing dealer details option should be given to the State Agriculture
Department instead of LFS.
3. Non-availability of DAOs Log-In ID in iFMS, to verify the actual receipts by the districts, resulting in
delay of uploading of proforma Bs.
4. Removal of duplicate mFMS IDs where NIC has to do the needful.
5. Dealer wise all transactions made report may kindly be provided in the state login for use in case of
Mixer fertilizers raw material drawl.
6. Like top 20 buyers report in the state login, All buyers list may kindly be provided based on the
selection of State, To Date and from Date for download as excel. It will be used completely for the
analysis purpose.
7. Modification requested in existing DBT reports “Stock Position in DBT Districts”(Drill Down reports
and “Retailer-Wise Monthly Fertilizers Sales and Amount” to add one more field ‘Fertilizer Group’
with Default option ALL, so that specific fertilizer wise report can be generated.
