– Meat production

– Milk production

– Mohair production

• Saanen and Toggenburg are milk goats
• Characteristics of dairy breed goats:
– Have soft skin with smooth coats
– Have rounded rib cage
– Have strong jaws to eat well
– Have strong legs for walking
– Soft and well-attached udders
