LIMITATIONS
The conclusion drawn from this study on the impact of demographic factors on the entrepreneurial
intention of BBA students at WBSU in Kolkata suggests that these factors do indeed play a
significant role in shaping the desire of individuals to start a new business. Specifically, family
business experience, region, category, specialization, and gender were examined. The findings
indicate that demographic factors have a positive effect on entrepreneurial intention among BBA
students in Kolkata.
Moreover, among the demographic factors studied, region and specialization emerged as the most
influential factors affecting entrepreneurial intention. This implies that where students come from and
their area of specialization within their studies have a notable impact on their inclination toward
entrepreneurship.
Overall, these results underscore the importance of considering demographic factors when studying
entrepreneurial intention among students, as they can provide valuable insights into the motivations
and predispositions toward starting new businesses.
