A computer network is
defined as a system that
connects two or more
computing devices for
transmitting and sharing
information.

Wired and Wireless
connections
● Wired networks use physical wiring and cables
which are plugged into ports on devices.
● ‫االتصال السلكي يستخدم االسالك والكاباالت للتوصيل‬

● Wireless networks connect without wiring (wireless

1- Modem
a device that connects a local area
network (LAN) to the internet.
‫جهاز يقوم بتوصيل الشبكه المحليه باالنترنت‬
It converts the signal from the internet service
provider (ISP),
Example :
{We ,Vodafone,Orange ,Etisalat}
which transforms into a digital signal that can
be read by devices.
‫يقوم بتحويل االشارة مزود خدمه االنترنت الى اشارة رقميه‬
‫يمكن لالجهزه التعرف عليها‬
2- Switches
They can send data to a specific
device over a network, which helps
to make
connections easier and faster.
‫هي اجهزه يمكنها ارسال البيانات الى جهاز‬
‫معين على الشبكه لتمكن الشبكه من النقل‬
‫بصورة اسهل واشرع‬
3- Router
1- It works as a Gateway ( connect the computer to
the ISP)
2- connects a modem to different networks.
‫يعمل الراواتر بمثابه بوابه توصيل بمزود خدمه االنترنت‬
‫كما يربط بين المودم ومختلف الشبكات‬.

Artificial Intelligence (AI)
is a comprehensive
term for computer
applications that
perform
complex tasks that
simulate the thinking
and performance of
the human element,
such
as the ability to learn
and reason”‫يقصد به‬
‫تطبيقات الكمبيوتر‬
‫التي تقوم بمهام معقده تحاكي‬
‫تفكير واداء العنصر البشري‬
‫مثل القدرة على التعلم‬
By providing these
technologies with
information and
knowledge and possible
answers to all possible
questions, the machine
can give answers to the data
provided, such as
1- writing an article on a topic
2-inquiring about historical
events and their sequence.

‫والمعرفه واالجابات المحتمله لجميع‬
‫االسئله يمكن لالله تقديم اجابات‬
‫للبيانات المقدمه‬
